Like Uncle Albert who trialled for Millwall FC but turned a place in the team down because Tram driving had better wages! He went from a Tram Driver in the Old Kent Road, to a Tank Driver helping to liberate France and Germany from the Nazis. On the way he was present at the liberation of Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp.
